ChuckM, if they want more from you, consider drafting (or updating) mutual wills, medical & general powers of attorney, and similar documents.  These constitute very solid evidence, and they're even more valuable to have in "life."

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

We have a PD of May 10, 2017 and haven't had any updates for the i-485. Unfortunately, the MSP field office will ultimately be conducting the interview, so I am guessing it won't be until next year...

I live in ND and filed N400 in the mid of December last year. My biometric was done on Feb 3rd in Fargo, and my interview was on Sep 18th in Minot. They flied uscis officers to do the interview here in Minot because we had many applicants in this area. I have just got my online status changed to "oath ceremony will be scheduled" today and i should receive the letter to tell me where and when the ceremony will be held within 30 days. It has been almost a year for me already.

Hi guys! :) I had my interview in Bismarck ND and I was told that the oath ceremony will be either in Fargo, Minot or Bismarck (I include Moorhead, MN in Fargo too because they are next to each other). Also, I had several friends who had their oath ceremony in Fargo and live in this area, so I don't think it's going to be in Minneapolis. BTW, my interview was on August 7th and my status changed after a few weeks to "Oath ceremony will be scheduled..." Unfortunately, that does not mean that I will get my oath letter within 30 days from that status, rather 30 days when they actually send it. It's been more than 6-7 weeks since they put me in line for the oath ceremony. I will keep you posted, good luck everyone! :D

MSP is not moving quickly right now. According to the 11/7 updated stats, as of 9/30/17 they are processing N400s from 10/12/16, so they're running at almost a year. They slipped significantly in September, only managing to get through 5 days worth of applications (as of 08/31/17 they were processing 10/07/16), so with a late December PD I'm not holding my breath.

That said, there are a few MSP folks on here who've had interviews (or interview notices) recently with PDs in the Dec/Jan timeframe, so there is some movement at least.

BTW, I saw the earlier comment about the large area covered by the MSP office. Based on the info I could find, the office covers ~2.5% of the US population, but only handles ~1.5% of the total N400 applications, so it's not a disproportionately high-workload office - can't speak to resourcing vs. case load though...

thank you for so much details and input. Apparently, MN ,ND,SD states are not a hot spot in terms of immigration, but they do have adopted lots of refugees. ..it's just too cold here, saying 16F at noon  today on Nov 10th,2017.

However,  the USCIS should at least have two offices serving these three states.  or each state has their own field office. anyway ,we cant change this situation.

Guess MN office is one of the slowest across the country lol while it is frustrating for me to wait for 14 months for an interview I understand that the current situation is not ideal for dealing with immigration cases. Kudos for those staff who work at local offices. Guess at this point all we can do is waiting.

read from local news showing that, this new office location at downtown Minneapolis is occupying the entire 7th floor, 32,000 square feet of Marquette plaza building, and providing full service since May 2017. The old office has been at Bloomington foe 30 years before this move.

"Tim Counts, a spokesman for the agency, said 500 to 660 people visit the office each month seeking immigration and citizenship information, while about 300 people come in each week for citizenship and green card interviews"....." It processes more than 13,000 applications for naturalization and serves all of Minnesota and the Dakotas and a large swath of western Wisconsin"

Hi! :)

No, I had my interview here in Bismarck, ND. My biometrics was in Fargo, ND. My oath ceremony is going to be either in Fargo, Bismarck or in Minot. But, I am still waiting for the letter. I will start calling senator's office next week. This waiting doesn't make sense - it's been almost 4 months since I had the interview and I got "Congratulations...etc". Good luck!
