Hi! :)

No, I had my interview here in Bismarck, ND. My biometrics was in Fargo, ND. My oath ceremony is going to be either in Fargo, Bismarck or in Minot. But, I am still waiting for the letter. I will start calling senator's office next week. This waiting doesn't make sense - it's been almost 4 months since I had the interview and I got "Congratulations...etc". Good luck!

it is totally crazy its been 4 months since your interview. usually you will have an update in a month since interview.

I was curious about this question so I took a look at some data - for those so inclined, the USCIS publishes quarterly data on N400 applications here: https://www.uscis.gov/tools/reports-studies/immigration-forms-data/data-set-form-n-400-application-naturalization

The latest data set is from FY17 Q3 (Apr-Jun 2017), and based on applications received during that time period, the MSP office was 27th out of all field offices (84) in number of applications received.

I also looked at the population of each state vs. the number of field offices as a (poor) approximation for volume of workload at each office - by this measure Minnesota is 7th. As I previously mentioned, the MSP office covers ~2.5 % of the US population (about 8.5 MM), but only handles ~1.5 % of the total N400 applications.

Of course, having all this data is nice but we can't really do anything practical with it, other than analyze it in various ways to keep ourselves busy while we wait for our applications to be processed :)

there was no other visitors during when i was there. Just wonder if MN has less applications compared in general to other states ? however, the processing at MN is very slow actually.
