I just checked IGOR's List.

Get ready for this massive mind blowing update on case approvals.

Yesterday there was one Visa Journey member who had an approval 3/23 NOA 1

TODAY there was one Visa Journey member who also had an approval 4/4 NOA 1

Congrats to the 2 of them.

At this rate of 1 approval a day our cases should be approved sometime next year. :protest:

At the moment everything seems to be moving at a very slow pace.  However we are only looking at one part of the whole picture. For instance, USCIS was overloaded with petitions Jan-Mar. (especially March)  And they are just working through the backlog of cases.  Also there have been at least several RFE's that have been handed out in the last couple of days.  Add on the fact that it's hard to tell what goes on outside of Visa Journey applicants.  I could go on but I digress.  In the end the vast majority of March and April filers should have their NOA-2 in hand by the end of the month. :)

Certainly hope you are right. Would be nice to see 5-10 approvals for tomorrow.

I don't think majority of April cases are going to be approved by the end of the month. Maybe half of them. But I sure expect to see things moving faster soon :)

We have to keep in mind August updates so far were rare ones via case tracker. Snail mail is slow by definition, but should be more Approvals coming :)

I appreciate your optimism but there's overwhelming evidence the pace of processing has slowed. A lot.

Only 70 NOA2s were issued to VJ March filers in July, v. 144 in June, and we currently stand at only 56% of March filers (220 out of 395) with NOA2. That leaves 175 cases without, the pace is going to have to double just to get March done by the end of the month. We might see March at 75% complete by the end of August.

Five April cases out of 307 April filers have NOA2 as of today. I seriously doubt April will be even 25% NOA2 by the end of the month, and if they are, that March is lower by a similar amount. If we go back to June processing levels, as Estibaliz points out, April might reach half of the cases with NOA2, but right now there's no evidence the rate of approvals is increasing. We can only hope that they do. :)

Imagine being a USCIS reviewer and having to explain how so many fakers were approved, related to this guy's conviction -> https://www.uscis.gov/news/news-releases/stamford-resident-admits-operating-extensive-immigration-fraud-scheme

I am only speculating, but I imagine this conviction & sentencing cause a cold chill in the reviewer worker pool to be extra cautious. A few bad apples... hurts the rest of us.

They should include in his sentence a requirement to answer calls from irate/worried/stressed I-129f filers for 16 hours per day during his time in jail.
