That's nice , where did u get ur police report certificate from and how long does it take u to get it ?

Please refer to this website. https://ekonsular.kln.gov.my/ekonsular_on9/login/GUIDELINES.pdf

I requested my Certificate of Good Conduct (CGC equivalent to police Certificate) online. Then I waited for a few weeks, cant remember. I think no more than 3 weeks. They said to wait for 1-2months, but got it earlier. After they issued the CGC, you can collect it for MYR20 at Ministry of Foreign Affair, Wisma Putra.

You're from UK, should take no more than 7-8 weeks. :-)

What do you mean by "front loading" ?

Ps, saw a comment by someone filing using different envelopes. This is absolutely not recommended. Send everything in one envelope, no dividers. Case number in upper right hand corner. Cover sheet with checklist on top. Search my post "how to avoid a checklist".

Still don't know what people mean by "front load, side load"? If it means submitting extra paper-work, it's just a waste of postage/time.. The NVC specifically states to not submit more than what is required as it could slow down your processing.. For example, no need to submit "proof of bonafide relationship" to the NVC as that was already done at the USCIS stage.. But to submit letters to explain something/ clear up any ambiguity to prevent any confusion, that's def appreciated/advised.

Yes - as has been briefly explained front loading is adding in as much information as possible.

In my case although we didn't necessarily need proof of assets I still put in our proofs in the last section where it says you can put additional documents. I also added in photos of us and the past 3 months of text conversations because I was not asked to submit anything and didn't receive any RFE in my i130. I didn't want to risk my NVC process to case complete being any longer than it already is and I don't think these things will cause any problem as they were neatly organized into my envelope still in the correct order. We also added cover sheets explaining the changes on our IRS transcripts from filing "single" to "married" etc. These kinds of things I read were recommended!

I'm glad to hear the UK has a smooth 7-8 week process.. here's hoping it continues for the August scan dates!!

And thank you @JBMG as always for your advice and spreadsheets etc. I can't tell you how many times I read your post about how not to receive a checklist and made sure to put stamps/stickers of my case number on all my documents :) I wouldn't have done that without you! You are so kind.

Yes, many people front load at the USCIS stage, also at NVC. I am not trying to argue with you, but when you sit and wait for an approval for 7 plus months from USCIS, i feel its a good idea to submit further evidence to NVC of your relationship. Example, i made 2 trips to see my husband after i filed the I 130, so i have new evidence, so i am choosing to include that. It's not required, i am sending it though. If people feel they want to send extra proof, no need to discourage them as long as they have everything NVC is requiring. JMO. The process is what it is, it is taking longer and longer then a year ago. Just have to hold on for the ride

October 31, 2016 I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

November 4, 2016 Received text case sent to Nebraska

November 10, 2016 Received Hard copy of NOA1

For the Dominicans getting their police certificate:

1. Did you have to go to the procuraduria to get it in person or were you able to get it online?

2. How long before it expires for immigration purposes?

3. Does NVC require to translate it?

My mother and husband paid the fee in DR and send me the referencia number, i was able to print it out from USA. For NVC its valid for one year and you do not have to translate it.

Mine came from the Texas Service Center as well so I'm not sure why it's taking yours much longer to arrive. They always say that, just like with reviewing cases it's up to 11 weeks. Don't be discouraged and you can call every few days to confirm receipt (as early as possible to avoid long wait times).

I do not understand that spreedsheet

What do you not understand and maybe I can try to help? At the top of each column it states what it is, Priority Date, Scan Date, Review Date, Case Complete Date, etc. Each row is a different VJ user and their specific information. If you go to columns O and P that should show you the specific country and city and you can filter at the top by your country to show you other VJ users dates for comparison.

CC today, yay! Sorry for those of you having to wait for review of paper submissions. We were one of the lucky group that get to do email processing. If anyone has the choice, you really should choose email processing. Our review only took 1 week from when we submitted everything until CC.

Unfortunately, not yet. I'm at week 7 of the potential 11 week wait time. From what I've seen I believe it's going to take 8-10 weeks. That means we're close! I'm still going to call tomorrow to see if our case is in review. If not I'll call again next Thursday.
