I am a August 2017 filer (Vermont)....  My application was transferred to local office in April....  I do have the 18 month extension...

Questions.....

Any one have an idea of how much of a delay to expect from the local office (Charlotte, NC), 6 months seems long...

Is an interview always scheduled when the application is transferred to the local office... or has anyone received a green card without interview from local office.

Thanks

Does it say " case recieved on April 9 to local office " then I might be just a glitch . Mine says the same thing but it is still at Vermont

Case Was Received At My Local Office

On April 9, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number EAC17308

Whereas my daughter just has this...

Case Was Received

On August 4, 2017, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number EAC1722151

Maybe you are right in that it is still in Vermont... I just made an assumption based on local office

You're comparing two different form status. Yours is I-751 and your daughters is CRI-89. You should find her I-751 and compare it to yours instead. The CRI-89 is just letting you know they got your fingerprints and the I-751 tracks the status and production of the actual green card

The e-mail explained that they will review and make a decision. And they will notify if they need extra information or an interview.
