Don't know about ICE but CBP are offered a bit more in pay to work in certain states near Mexico and Canada.

So what about all the legal Hispanics who are going to get harassed even more? The general public should just let ICE do what they do and mind their own business. 

 

This reminds me of the whole "See something, say something" which just ends in the police having to come talk to people doing nothing wrong because some super paranoid person called the cops. If regular people are going to call ICE because they think they have seen an illegal person, all that's going to happen is that ICE is going to have to check up on legals as well. I'm pretty sure ICE already know where to look.

Problem is ICE isn't doing their job, thanks to stand-down orders by Obama (in contravention to US law) coupled with local jurisdictions attempting to go above their jurisdiction (impeding on federal matters) and pay grade.

The Sanctuary Cities are the lures for people like those that died in San Antonio.  I realize the MDL runs on "good intentions", but they never ever pause to consider the unintended consequences of their intentions or actions.

Some are just misguided, others I am not so sure. I suspect evil intent.
