mental illness, you need to get from your doctor saying you're no harm to yourself and people around you I believe. This also should be presented at the medical. And you will probably have a psych evaluation at that stage.

And with our our petition I didn’t provide a letter from my doctor saying any of that, but I can get one if we are approved. Do you think not having it with the petition would be a problem? 

 

I have never been on medication and I finished our my therapy and now am honestly pretty much fine, so I’m assuming things shouldn’t be. 

 

And it says case case has been received. The only thing I know is we didn’t have to provide a affidavit of support according to the lawyer because my fiancé earns above the poverty line, everything else seemed fine.

You'll only need to provide that in the medical exam don't worry it won't affect this part at Uscis. I would check on vj old threads what everyone does by googling you can find lots of examples.

 

Affidavit is also at the interview but your lawyer is wrong it is not because petitioner makes over the poverty line. It is because you don't send it with the petition.

 

doesnt matter how much someone makes, you need to prove it and affidavit of support with the additions evidence such as tax returns will prove it.

 

i think I can be a k1 immigration lawyer maybe I should start law school and save a bunch of people from this pain 🤔

Nervous!!!!! I just check on Case Tracker...1 number before and 2 numbers after mine gotten a RFE... 

We are still waiting dor tier 2 to call back... 

I will use that as a positive thing....why not? It Costs me less energy...  something that I don't have much those days...

The two numbers directly following mine were both RFE's in the midday scan. I look at it as a positive thing.

Gosh now I just feel completely stupid. Maybe we shouldnt have gone with a lawyer after all.

I got a notification on my phone for an Rfe and it was for a case after mine. Almost had a heart attack. Not because that’s rfe but because it’s the first time in 193 days  that I have any kind of activity on the app . I’m gonns delete all cases other than mine. Too much to handle

Yesterday when I was doing the evening, or midday scan... Hmmm ...... Can't remember off the top of my head. Anyway, A case with the exact same numbers as mine got an RFE,  except the last two are switched, as in mine is 24 and theirs was 42. I was like Oh shoot, I got an RFE, then looked again and realized the difference. But yeh, it can give a person a scare.

It's ok  it sometimes merges the replies cause they are too close in time.

 

Go to uscis website and use the tracker there, the month it says there is where your number will be processed with.

I look at it that way too... they already reached 30th for the RFE and im a july 10..so its small blessings still. Hopefully mail comes in within this week. My fiancé is not handling very well but these are all beyond our control...lets just be positive until i guess.

Just don't worry and move in a calm manner about these as much as you can.cause worrying does not help with this much   and what's done is done, just don't believe in everything a lawyer says, because immigration lawyers don't really know much about k1. K1 is too simple a process for that. (I saw a lawyers website that put a flow chart that says your petition gets approved at NVC... I laughed for a good 10 minutes)

 

google "visa journey mental medical k1" or anything that comes up as a keyword to you. I know I saw a bunch of topics before about this.

No, same issue as you. I also received NOA1 on July 10th and still in the "received" mode. Spoke to Tier 2 earlier and got the spiel about "They are working on June 27th...blah blah". Haven't seen anyone else from July 10th post that they receive NOA2 in mail only (that's not updated on the app already), that's why was checking.
