I told her that I still haven't received my biometric appointment notice and it has been more than 30 days. She transferred me to a Tier 2 officer quickly. I received a call back in 10 minutes.

 

The Tier 2 officer was a kind lady. She verified my information and told me that my biometric appointment hasn't been scheduled yet. I'm relieved because that means that it hasn't been lost in the mail or anything. They are just slow as hell scheduling those appointments, it seems like. Anyway, she gave me my case number which would be on the biometric appointment notice, so now I can check my case status online on the USCIS website.

Again told nothing scheduled for me and to wait until mid Sept  as that would be at least 45days ( she said range is 30-45days) . If nothing by then, call back and they will put in request to find out why not. 

 

Wow your tier2 person was nice in that she gave you your case number ( that you can track online).

Some of us are in the same worry boat as you, including myself. Some get it about 1 or so weeks after getting their NOA1 and are on the aforementioned boat.

We can't track until we get the Biometrics letter as that number is the tracking number.  Maybe if you call them , you will get that nice lady as Anna51 got (she told Anna51 her case number).  .

I received my biometrics a week ago. I was on holiday. 


It was dated 08/18/2017, they sent on 08/22/2017 that is printed date on envelope.

 

Our processing center is Vermont. Please add the details in spreadsheet.

B: Original Green Card


Please help me,if apart from above two documents, We have to bring any other additional documents also ?

Like you, I was told the same thing too - to call back in mid September. Actually I asked for the case number, so she didn't say it by herself, but it was nice of her nevertheless. She could have said no just wait for the bio letter. I think it is worth a try!

I'm a big time worrier when it comes to mail. My husband and I live in an apartment complex and I recently found out that there is a lady in the same building having the very same last name as my husband and I do! Plus, her first name starts with the same letter as mine! :blink: The other week one of her magazines landed in our mailbox, I was thinking what could be in her mailbox then? :rolleyes:

Based on the spreadsheet, from CSC filers with NOA1s after July 15th, only 2 people got their biometric appt letter.  :wow: However, from VSC filers with NOA1s after July 15th almost everybody did. 

 

I'm starting to seriously wonder what's going on with California Service Center...  :unsure:

I'm an August filer, but called them today since it's been a month from my NOA date. Been told that they haven't scheduled me yet for bio appt, and that the current time of waiting is 45-60 days. So if I don't receive anything till the end of Sep. should go ahead and call again. That's crazy...

But the only good thing level 2 officer gave me my trackable number as well, so I can check my status now. 

Just wanted to share with you guys, since lots of you still waiting as well. Seems like it takes forever for the whole process now...

I did exactly the same thing on Monday (August 28th). I called them, my call was transferred to a Tier 2 officer and I have been told that my bio appt hasn't been scheduled yet and that I have to wait and call back in mid September. The Tier 2 officer was able to give me the trackable number as well, so now I can see that my case status says "Case Was Received". Better than nothing! *sigh* We just have to be patient -_-

Ask to get your call transferred to a Tier 2 officer, he will be able to help and check whether your wife's biometric appt was already scheduled or not. If god forbid the bio appt letter was lost in mail and your wife missed her appt it's better to know as soon as possible.

Hey y'all, i just received both our biometric letters today dated 26th August.  We are scheduled to appear at Jacksonville support center on 13th september.. Thank God.  Slow but sure! Update for me.
