Hello guys I hope everything is okay , i have cr1 visa and on 22end of may 2017 I had my interview  in casablanca , morocco everything went well but at the end of the interview the consulate officer asked me to give her my old passport , but unfortunately i didn't bring it. She gave me a white paper and told me to send them my previous expired passport number , I did and now it been 5weeks and no update on my status. We e-mailed them and told us we will notify u as soon as we finish the administrative processing do you have any idea how long take to this process to be done? Thank you

No set amount of time. Could be a few days or weeks, up to months and years. Hopefully you'll get your visa really soon :)

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Nobody will know the exact amount of time it will take. It will take as long as they need. You can contact the embassy and inquire about the status.

As said above, there is no specific time frame for administrative processing. Morocco is known to be rather slow when it comes to issuing visas, so that makes things even more difficult to predict. I would keep following up with the consulate every few weeks. Hopefully your case will be moving along soon.

We emailed several times and it's clear they didn't read our email since we got a response telling us how to prepare for the interview. My husband is going mad waiting and with these floods in Houston, I feel it's more imperative that he gets home, because trying to do everything myself is just ridiculous. Still no word back yet?

That's awful ! I just don't get why they hold people's life , especially they don't give us any information or a deadline!!! Such a frustrating

for me now its been 3months since I had my interview , and we tried so many times to call and email them but we get same reply

it's just a matter of time. I'm afraid that my case probably will back to the USCIS , anyways we don't have nothing to do only waiting and waiting...

We've been waiting for 3 months and my husband is going crazy because we have seen each for about 15 months. I don't think it's going back, I think their just power tripping because a few K1s got theirs much quicker. Imad doesn't even have a common name!
