what to do after marriage approval in usa

i have recieved my approval from VN embassy in Washington DC for marriage. i plan to travel to Vietnam to get married. after years of trying fiancee visa, we were turned down after her interview. no reason. so we are going the CR1 route. any help about what we should do is greatly appreciated

You have to find out the reason for previous denial and make sure they won't deny your spouse visa for the same reason.

we were turned down last november. she has all the paperwork with her in VN. i was interviewed for over an hour in broken English. i never got my paoerwork back! we are not sure why we were turned down. i did everything they asked for. the reason i didnt go in the first place was for medical reasons. i gave ample proof from 3 doctors saying i should not travel by airplane bc of heart condition

should there be problems even after i go and get married in her town? how long do i need to stay? i have a job and even though everybody is understanding, i need to come back within a month

there was no reason for the denial? What specifically did they say did what paper did they give you and what did it say?

Did you ever meet her in person? Or did you use medical reasons as to why you couldn't fly to Vietnam. If that is the case, this may be your reason for denial. Please provide more information.

yes. i provided all medical documents about my congestive heart failure. although i am active, im a wellness instructor, my heart doctor does not want me to fly ANYWHERE much less to a small town in Vietnam. we have spoken about it and he says Good Luck! at this point all i can do is travel there. i have a friend i met where i work who has a Vietnamese wife. my fiance is a distant relative who wanted to practice english on the internet. this is not a dating site thing. we talked for almost 2 years before we spoke of marriage

If you don't know why you were denied, you run the very real risk that you will be denied again.

Marriage to a US citizen does not grant any immigration rights into our country. The marriage only gives you, the USC, the right to petition for immigration of your spouse.

I suggest you try to find out why  you were denied in the first place. It's possible that you can still go the K-1 route if you "fix" the issue for denial.  But if you marry in VN, then you will have to petition for a CR-1 visa.  There is a lot of good information here on VJ.
