Interesting article, it's good to see that 52% of American Muslims have non Muslim friends it shows integration in the community, compare this with just 5% outside the US.

Isis counts and preys on the ignorance of many who believe that Muslims belong to a race, without realizing there are muslims of all races: Arabs, Persians, Indians, Asians, Africans, not to mention Caucasians in Europe and America.  Every time someone makes an unfounded comment to the effect of lumping all Muslims within one homogeneous group, terrorism wins.

Makes sense, especially given Trump being elected. Muslims know people are watching them closely in the US, and there's a lot less political correctness than other countries like France and the UK where they openly protest about destroying the country they live in. Wouldn't be tolerated in the US. But I won't digress too much, May's announcement seems great on the surface, lets just see if anything materializes from it.

Indeed.  I find it horrifying that we are seeing Filipinos join the movement and causing a stir in their country.  I really do hope I don't have to be fearful when flying there next year.
