That's all nice and well, but you still can't control what others think of you - as a person or as a country. You can make every attempt for them to like you but at the end of the day you have no control over the outcome. When you have people that don't quite understand America and never will, I'm not sure why you should care how they feel, but to each their own.

I guess we would have to disagree. I see your point about not having you self perception driven by having everyone liking you,  that we cannot do. And we cannot , nor should not fix everything.

On the otherhand Americas finest moments came when we stood up for developing democracy, a common defense of others against oppression by tyrants or against n famine and disaster  and for the development of free and for markets.

Our weakest moments? When we closed our borders and threw up tarrfis. When we did not speak up against oppression and we said we have enough problems of our own. We cannot  be leaders in isolation.

I have no problem with the part in bold, but what I do have a problem with is looking around to see what people think of you and using that to determine if you're doing the right thing or not. America should always strive to do the right thing(and everybody considers that to be something different) regardless of how positively or negatively others perceive it. I'm just saying no matter what America does there will always be certain people who don't like it - on either side. We can't bother ourselves too much with what others consider to be the right thing.

Always a good rule to live by, don't worry about what others think about yourself, just worry about making yourself better.

The seated. President could benefit from an understandING of how he is heard by other groups and cultures including our allies.

Again, I care not at all. I guess when you come from a place where everyone hates you anyway you learn not to care. I'd say the same under any president and it has nothing to do with arrogance. They should mind their own business, they don't live here they don't get to judge same is true for every country end of story.

You should get the countries that are getting destroyed by the refugee crisis to like you, because in the end, them liking you is all that matters.

Except Russia. Gotta start WW3 with them because Podesta and other DNC geniuses clicked on phishing links in emails, and need to save face.

Who is starting ww3? Kind of a leap isn't it?

Free pizza has been the cause of most of the major battles in history. It's no surprise that it will be the cause of WW3.

Sì Jacque, suona alla grande. Abbiamo gola di noi stessi con la pizza!

Pizza was also the root cause of family in-fighting between Frank And Don Pepe. The two have been going head to head in the pie business for years.

Talking Italian!

Don Pepe's in queens was a favourite hang-out spot of John Gotti's ( the plumbing sales equipment guy)!
