I130 filed, never recieved approval/rejection letter

Hello members.

I filed an i130 for my brother and sister in August 2016. It was recieved by USCIS on Aug 11, and i got notice of action i797c in mail. It saya Reciept in Notice Type. I am still waiting on the approval letter. I tried to submit online request for processing taking long, but it said your case is within the processing time.

Please guide me on what can i do. The reciept number starts with WAC.......

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

That timeline I am unsure of, but I would assume NVC wouldn't happen until they are eligible/a visa is available.

08/15/2014 : Met Online

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

So yours is California Service Center. check the processing time of that center, it's showing they are currently processing the cases from 2011. So still few years to get approval noticebif approved.

Spouse:

2015-06-16: I-130 Sent

2015-08-17: I-130 approved

2015-09-23: NVC received file

2015-10-05: NVC assigned Case number, Invoice ID & Beneficiary ID

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

2016-07-05: Received IV invoice, IV Fee Paid

2016-07-06: DS-260 Submitted

2016-07-07: AOS and IV Package mailed

2016-07-08: NVC Scan

2016-08-08: Case Complete

2017-06-30: Interview, approved

2017-07-04: Visa in hand

2017-08-01: Entry to US

The minimum wait time for an immigrant visa number to become available for the sibling of a US citizen is ten years.

Also, because per-country limits apply as well, applicants from certain countries, namely Mexico, India, and the Philippines, typically wait even longer, sometimes up to 25 years.
