Yes? This thread is about Spencer, a Nazi, with too much free time on his hands, who enjoys protesting about a statue and using it to fuel his hateful rhetoric. I think it's been clarified by now, that it was he that's the subject of the thread.

Reading this comment by a local man made more sense to me than most of what I have read so far.

 

Kenneth Jackson, who is African-American, argued that the controversy surrounding the statues is a new phenomenon that is being perpetuated unnecessarily.

 

“I can tell y’all, we didn’t have these issues. We grew up together. I used to walk through every neighborhood,” he said. “Don’t play black folks for a fool. This disgusts me — and you’re supposed to be our leaders? Our parents didn’t hate the statue.”

I can actually see the Washington monuments happening too, especially if some right wing rights group or one random school shooter is caught wearing a t-shirt that praises Washington. Then of course they'll want him off the currency too. #SocialJustice

The us flag flew over slaves for how many years. The man the Washington monument is named after, owned how many slaves.

He owned his first slave when he was a boy. Clearly celebrating anything related to Washington is racist.
