Hi good day, here's my story.My mom and dad sepated,since I am in my mom womb,when she give birth to me she registered me on nso(Philippines) in her family name,which its like we are sisters in papers,her mom and dad is my mom and dad too in papers.But when my real father get me in my mom side,when I was 6 yrs old,my father registered me again(late registration) in his municipality, and he put also his mom and dad is my mom and dad too and papers as what mom did too.I thought it was not legal.But when I check it in nso(Philippines) the two different names are legal.But since I was in grade school my father given name is what I used till now.And I'm so confused cuz what if my american fiancee gonna process the visa and the us embassy gonna investigate my side.Which my real parents are still alive but my parents (grandparents) both birth certificate are died already in papers.What should I do?Can I ask some of your advice?

I would recommend you get this fixed now, if you don't and ever want to have your parents sponsored to come to the us you will have issues

As already recommended you should get this fixed, and it won't be easy.  OR...  you can use the BC and name you have always used, but as noted you will never be able to petition your actual mother or father.    Ahhh .. the crazy things people do with birth certificates in the Philippines.

 

Do you have a passport?  If so, what name is on the passport?  That is your "official" name and you should use the birth certificate that supports that name.

 

This could best be answered by an attorney, not a bunch of opinions on the internet.
