well.. I think I'm a bit lost. The NVC has sent it, but the embassy shows 'no status yet' after filling out the number received after my DS-160. I would really like to call them but there doesn't seem a number working.

Just waiting again I guess haha!

December isnt that much time behind relatively to the whole process 😅.

Usually people (the US citizen petitioner) call the NVC after about two weeks of receiving NOA2 for their case number so to clarify, you have that number right? AMS2018...

You cannot call the Consulate, but you can e-mail them. However, depending on the volume it can take awhile to receive your package 3 or even for NVC to send it out.

Thank you @Dutchster and @Little_Vixen . Yes, that's why I'm also getting a bit nervous and consider knocking on the embassy's door.

To clarify; these two e-mails we received on March 30th (my fiancé), I filed my DS-160 on April 2nd and sent an e-mail to them that's been left unanswered until now. I did get a confirmation from my DS-160.

Also attached the status updates from today. Would you still recommend to contact the NVC?

Nice to meet you!

We received our NOA2 April 11, at NVC now. So we still have some time.

Oh oops, sorry. Yeah, the weather was the main reason to choose for the U.S. above Amsterdam actually. What were yours to bring your fiancé to Ohio instead of moving to the Netherlands?

You're at the northern end of Ohio, right? I'll be in the south of Indiana so I'll be having almost the same kind of weather as the Netherlands. I'm really looking forward to going. I miss the huge butterflies and the hummingbirds.
