That's what I understand from a May 2017 filer as well.

 

Is packet 4 sent by email? That's the only thing I haven't been able to confirm yet.

I still got it by regular mail, but it might have changed since I've seen a lot of things change over the year.

It'll say:

Important notice
Panel Physician can be reached as of: -date- in order to schedule your required medical exam. For me, I wasn't allowed to schedule an appointment with the Dr until June 20 2016 while my interview was on July 15.

01/13/2016: I-129F filed  07/15/2016: K-1 visa in hand
10/13/2016: Filed AOS + EAD/AP.   07/07/2017: Permanent resident (Conditional)
04/16/2019: Filed ROC  11/17/2020: Approved. (10 yr GC)

I have my medical this coming Wednesday and had to schedule it myself. I scheduled it about a month before my interview date. The doctor will let you schedule an appointment as soon as you have an appointment date (P4). I got my P4 by email by the way.

Hoi Dutchies :) 

Ik ben een K1 september filer en heb een vraag over de police certificate (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag neem ik aan?)

Kan ik deze nu bij de gemeente aanvragen of moet ik wachten tot ik NOA2 binnen heb? Want ik las online dat ze een bewijs op papiee nodig hebben waarin staat dat VOG nodig is.

Je VOG moet recent zijn plus zonder dat bewijs op papier geven ze het niet uit. 


Het formulier dat je nodig hebt als bewijs valt online uit te printen maar ik zou wachten tot je in je ambassade fase zit.

Dutchster heeft gelijk, je hebt genoeg tijd om het aan te vragen zodra je NOA2 hebt.

 

Ik heb die van mij wel al in november aangevraagd en pas in januari NOA2 ontvangen.

 

Houd er rekening mee dat de gemeente moeilijk kan doen omdat je het zelf aan komt vragen met een niet officieel ondertekende brief. Was in mijn geval (Den Haag) in elk geval wel zo. Dame geloofde me niet dat ik het zelf aan kwam vragen, dat het consulaat het in had moeten vullen en dat het altijd zo gaat, blabla... Uiteindelijk ging ze het navragen aan een collega en kwam ze terug met: oh, blijkbaar gaat het tegenwoordig toch zo.

Ik moest dus even volhouden (waar ik het warm van kreeg), maar uiteindelijk gewoon gelukt :)

 

Brief inderdaad online gevonden en die uitgeprint meegenomen.

 

@Dutchster, die brief zat trouwens niet in packet 3 en de links in packet 3 werkten niet - dus heel duidelijk stond het niet vermeld.
