Hi Everyone,

I filed mind on February 10 2017.  I got this email message and letter in the mail. "  On February 14, 2017, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number xxxxxxxxxxx, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice." 

 can some one explain to me how all this process work? and how long for each process? Because status is same from long time

Lately it seems to be hovering anywhere around an average of 100 -120 days between the petition receipt notice and petition approval notice. Some are waiting much longer than even that tho.

I-129F will take about 3-4 months from filing to approval on average right now. Then it will go to NVC then to the embassy. That whole process can take up to 2 months, but it's generally taking less than a month. Then the timeline from embassy receipt to interview varies from embassy to embassy. The stats here at VJ indicate it's about a month or so.

10/14/17: Biometrics appointment notice received, 10/25/17: Biometrics

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

K-1:

4/6/2017: Received, 4/12/2017: Sent to Riyadh embassy, 4/16/2017: Case received at Riyadh embassy, 4/21/2017: Request case transfer to Manila, approved 4/24/2017

 

K-1

5/1/2017: Case received by Manila (1 week embassy transfer??? Lucky~)

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

8/15/2017: POE

That means they received your petition and you have to wait (approx. 3-4 months) for a decision on the petition. Then it will get sent along to the embassy if it is approved. You can find the thread specifically for February filers and follow along with other people who also filed in February. I am a fellow India filer! My fiance will be going through the Delhi embassy, but we filed in March. Hope you will get your approval soon!
