Hello,

This is the guidance on report of marriage.......

Report of Marriage between Filipinos or a Filipino and a Foreign National

The marriage of a Filipino should be reported to and registered with the Philippine National Statistics Office through the Embassy/Consulate General having jurisdiction over the locality where the event took place. Please check the Consulate Finder or the Consulates Link for the states covered by the Embassy/Consulates General in the U.S.

If your marriage took place in Guam, you should file your report of marriage with the Philippine Consulate General in Guam.  You can find the information by visiting their website at.......philippinesguam.org

Once you have mailed them the requirements they will register your marriage and mail you your copy of the report of marriage for your personal files.  Or if you guys live in Guam, you could even prepare the report of marriage documents and hand-carry the package to the Philippine Consulate there in Agana.  Pretty easy and simple process.  Good luck.....

we don't live in guam anymore. we live in ohio now. thanks for the response anyway.

The earlier  information posted by D&C is correct.  You must complete ROM at the consulate having jurisdiction over the state, or territory, where you got married... GUAM.

ROM can be completed by mail so this is a simple process to complete.  Follow the instructions from the consulate that represents GUAM.

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!

No, you MUST do the ROM to the Guam consulate, there is no way around that at all.

For example.... I got married with my asawa in NC, we then moved to California. We ended up having to send everything to the embassy in Washington D.C. because we got married in their district. The consulate in Los Angeles wouldn't even look at our paperwork.

Both Cyberfox and Sagot are correct.  You must report your marriage to the consulate that has jurisdiction over the place you were married.  In this case, Guam is the place for you to follow their ROM instructions. Guam judicates marriages in Guam. But in the Continental US then multiple states come under 5 different consulate's.
