Once the visa gets approved and they deliver your passport to the address you gave them, does anyone know what happens if no one would be there to receive it? (Country specific Philippines) would they redeliver it? Would they text/contact you for a convenient time for the delivery?

You may have to contact them about the delivery or if there is the local mail office to pick it up at.

That's why a lot of people will stick around and pick it up in person at MOA. Saves couple days mail time and yea.

If no one is at home, they won't deliver the packet.  If someone is at home, they will deliver the packet, but they may ask for a permission letter signed by the beneficiary.

When they texted Chinook that her fiancee visa was about to be delivered, she called the local office and told them to hold onto it, and then she went there and picked it up.

2GO will call/text to the number listed from your profile with the embassy.  Your fiancee needs to be there WITH picture ID

It may be possible to for her to write a letter authorizing another person to receive the package, but she must leave her picture ID with that person also.

KISS -  you fiancee should make sure she is there for delivery.

Leave a message with your local 2go office to hold your visa and that you will pick it up in person. Many people, including us, used this process.

I have a question, my fiance has a relative that lives in Dagupan which has a 2GO location. Can they, with permission and her original ID pick up the package on her behalf? Or would it be better just to wait for the package to arrive in Bangar, which is 4 more hours North? The embassy has to know the shipping location of either one of these depending on where she wants to pick it up.

Yes it is possible for someone else to retrieve the package, but they must have written permission and picture ID from your fiancee.

Delivery options for the visa package must be listed.  If you are choosing pickup then you would list the 2GO office in Dagupan.
