You will need a sponsor if you don't make enough money through one year to show on your income tax so the person you are bribing doesn't become dependent on the government . Depends on which state you live but if you make around 17,000 a year or more you probably don't need a sponsor .

Start out reading the poverty guidelines https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-864p.pdf?download=1

check with the foreign partners embassy to see if they require 100% or 125%

does the us citizen partner make enough currently for him/herself, any dependents plus the intending immigrant?

if a sponsor is needed, they'll have to present the same docs as the us citizen partner (main sponsor).

Please use a normal font, it can be difficult to read huge bold fonts like yours.

The co-sponsor fills in the same papers as the main sponsor/ petitioner, and make sure to include 3 years of taxes as well as proof of citizenship/ greencard.

You'll need the I-134 Affidavit of Support form for you and for the joint filer. You will need to include with that form different types of evidence, including:

" You will need several items (for the above form). Gather duplicate evidence of income and resources as appropriate:
(A) Statement from an officer of the bank/financial institution with your deposits, identifying the following: 1. date account opened; 2. total amount deposited for the past year; 3. present balance
(B) Statement(s) from your employer on business stationary showing: 1. Date and nature of employment; 2. salary paid; 3. whether position is temporary or permanent (also include copies of your last two pay stubs and your previous W-2 for the associated employer if available)
(C) If Self Employed: 1. Copy of last income tax return filed (or IRS transcripts); or 2. report of commercial rating concern
(D) List containing serial numbers and denominations of bonds and name of record owner(s)."

Here's some more information that might help: http://www.visajourney.com/content/support

Please do lots of research and be very careful to sign everything. Good luck to you and your fiance!
