AP is just something everyone goes through. It can be simply extra review of the petition, security/background checks....

Can last 2-3 days, 2-3 weeks, 2-3 months, or more.

SO you just had your interview on Thursday

Everyone goes through AP at some point, which can be very brief while your visa is processed and is what most people go through

If your AP is for other reasons such as missing documentation or pending security checks then AP can last longer - months to years

Yes it is possible to be told your at the interview that your visa is approved, and still end up in true AP

Hey Mehdi,

If they told you at the interview that you were approved, and you were not given a 221g paper (usually asking for additional documents), Administrative Processing could simply mean that they are processing your visa, which is normal and could take a few days, or weeks at most, usually. I recommend checking your status again in a few business days.

Kastrs you're right. My fiance went for his interview September 2016 and he was told that his visa was approved and they took his passport and was asked to register with aramex. As I type it has been seven months still on AP, they have not ask for no documents. This is very painful for us. I pray mehdi-T don't go through such. Just hope for a call soon .
