Hi All, I sent my I-130 for my step daughter on 4/6/2017 the package was delivered on 4/7/2017.

Well I didn't expect to update so soon but we received the email in early hours with an interview date of march 12th! Wow! The case completed last Friday and we had the interview date only a few days

Congrats! I hope I get to hear an update on our case as well. My NOA1 was also April 24.

When we were processing my petition it was 4 weeks before we heard an update from NVC to proceed on agent assignment, Visa processing and payments. I believe you can correct all the information with NVC once you have it started.

06-30-2011- I-130 filed (marked as our PD)

07-09-2011- NOA1

12-09-2011- I-130 Approved

01-09-2012- case number and IIN assigned, ds-3032 and AOS bill invoiced

01-09-2012- AOS paid online

01-10-2012- AOS fee PAID

01-15-2012- emailed DS-3032

01-19-2012- DS-3032 accepted

01-19-2012- IV fee invoiced

01-20-2012- IV fee paid online

01-24-2012- IV fee PAID

01-24-2012- mailed AOS form

01-25-2012- mailed DS230 (via fedex)

02-01-2012- RFE NBI and ds230 part 2 should be submitted

4/7- I-130 received at Chicago Lockbox

4/12 - Money order cashed

4/13 - Notice of acceptance (Text/ email) - Case assigned to TEXAS

4/18 - Notice of acceptance (regular mail USPS)

10/4- RFE - for intial evidence notice online

10/19/2017 RFE notice received

10/20/17 - RFE response sent

10/21/2017 - RFE delivered to USCIS address

10/23/2017 - USCIS system updated " Response to USCIS request for evidence was received

1/22/2018 - Approved (Tier2 informed me by phone)

2/8/2018 - Case Sent to NVC

2/21/2018 - NVC received case 

3/30/2018 - Case & Invoice number over the phone

3/30/2018 - DS-261 completed

4/2/2018 - Welcome letter by email

4/3/2018 -  Paid $120 & $325

Just got an email from the NVC with NVC Case Number and Invoice ID Number. Tried logging into the CEAC site to choose an agent but it's not working yet. I'm guessing it can take a few days to load into the database? Anybody know anything about this? Does it take a few days after receiving the email notification to sync or upload or anything to be able to login?

Congratulations on your Approval,  your mom name is incorrect in the birth certificate or just the NOA2 ?  was it incorrect in the NOA1 ?

Contratulations on getting your case and ID number.  Keep checking the site probably today or next week you will be able to choose the agent and if still not working contact NVC.

Hi everyone,

 

Yesterday when I got home I finally received the RFE sent by USCIS on 10/4/2017.    I am petitioning for my stepdaughter and they are requesting a divorce decree between my husband and the mother of stepdaughter.  However there is no divorce because they were never married.  So i sent a letter clarifying the matter also I notarized the letter and attached an additional copy of my marriage certificate with translation.  I sent the response today.  I will keep updating you guys.

Good morning everyone,

 

On Friday 10/20/2017 I sent the response for the RFE which was delivered to USCIS on 10/21/2017.  Yesterday 10/23/2017 the USCIS updated my case stating that USCIS received now I am waiting to see what there decision is going to be.

 

Hope everyone is receiving any information in reference to there cases.  It is hard at times but we will have victory at the end.

Next is the NVC - your case will be sent to NVC and there they will request from you  2 payments and civil and finacial documents.

 

You may want to start collecting:

 

income tax information  (W2 or IRS transcripts)

birth certificate for your mom

Copy of passport (beneficiary and petitioner)
