With the playoffs starting this week I am getting a little excited. Who's gonna win? Any surprises? I am predicting Buffalo this year, they seem to be unstoppable. My Rangers are getting Karen's Thrashers in the first round. I have a feeling I may sleep a few nights alone :lol:

I love the NHL. My favorite team (Tampa Bay Lightning) is playing my 2nd favorite team (New Jersey Devils) in round one. Either way one moves on but sadly one of them is going home too. I think the Lightning can beat the Devils but even if they do they don't have the goal tending to go far in the playoffs. It's just too bad the sport isn't more popular in the US. It's a great sport to watch on TV and IMO there is no better sport to watch in person. If you've never been to an NHL game go see a playoff game and you'll see what I mean. I still remember the deafening roar of the crowd during our Stanley Cup Championship run a in 2004.

My 'playoff beard' begins on Thursday. Unfortunately I think it's only going to last about as long as last year when the Lightning were bounced in 5 games. I predict the Devils over the Bolts in 6 games.

My team was eliminated on Sat. night by Toronto of all freakin's teams. :crying:

There's always next year, Habs. You came reeeeal close this year....lol. :unsure:
