Just curious if USCIS will always send you Green Card 'Card Production Ordered' email or not

I just received emails on 'Welcome Notice' and 'Approval Notice Sent' 2 months ago, but not the 'Card Production Ordered' one.

The welcome notice is here, but not the Green Card... I wonder if it is get lost in mail or...

Dreams really do come true! Well, not in the way we'd like, but we got out case resuming email today.

Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.

The online updates are not always accurate. You may want to schedule an infopass appointment to see if a card was actually ordered for you. When you go for your infopass, bring the welcome notice with you.

Hopefully it wont take too long. My wife's friend also received an RFE @ her interview and she received her green card 35 days after they received her paperwork. *** finger crossed ***

We had our interview in Chicago today. We were scheduled for 9:59 am (weird time huh!?!) but we got there at about 8:30 (wanted to beat 88/290 traffic!). They called us in around 9 (almost an hour early). We went in the room, the "officer" swore us in and then we sat. He asked for our ID's, we both showed him our DL's and Hilario also showed him his EAD. He began to flip thru our GIGANTIC file and I could see all the stuff I had sent in (I colored coded alot of it ) Then he started verifying all of Hilarios info, DOB, where he was born, when he entered the US. Then he asked if Hilario was ever involved with a terrorist group, a communist party, etc...all of which were big NO's hahaha....then he asked if we had paid the fine for Hilario entering illegally. I dug out the reciept, but OOPS forgot to make a copy, so he went and copied it (I felt like an idiot because I though I was SOOO prepared). The he asked to see originals, Hilario's BC, and our Marriage License. He did not look at our photos or ask us ANY personal questions. He then said he had everything he needed and that he would be in touch. He said we would recieve a letter in the mail about his decision. We shook his hand and left. We ARE SOOO nervous now, I wish he could of let us know then and there. Im hoping to get the "Green Card Production Ordered" email later today...I will keep you all updated!!!

Oh and he didn't take Hilario's EAD, is that normal??

Some officers take the EAD and some don't. Keeping my fingers crossed for you and Hilario!

I am very confused here I had my interview in August 8 and I am still on secuirity check ! I see that some people who had thier interview after me had thier GC already on what base they give to whom the GC first ! the one whowas interviwed first or something else? I called them today and they have no clue I wanna go visit my family and iam still waiting my Card..when I chech my status online it didn't update since june 8!!!!

Everyone's case is different especially when it comes to namechecks. It's not wise to go on someone else's case since they may or may not have produced a namecheck match. The basis upon which permanent residency is granted is with an approval. USCIS can't officially approve someone for permanent residency until their security checks clears.
