Right I am getting ready to go to the Infopass in Los Angeles, Luckily I can get there within an hour!
Still no sign of my EAD, I am beyond frustrated now and really hope they can get it sorted for me today by ordering an Interim one or speeding up my one. Haven't even had a touch since my Bio on 15th May! $180 for this crappy service...geesh

Anyway fingers crossed I get someone nice and everyone well done on your approvals, hopefully I'm not to far behind!!!

hope you get some good new at the appointment...we finally got Gavin's EAD approval last week...92 days from filing :blink: our case has had no touches sine early June!

Went and picked up my NEW medical results from the CS today, and had them in the mail by 12h30. Overnight delivery to CSC, and will get there by 15h00 tomorrow.

The CS gave me copies of everything, for the "just in case" something goes wrong again!!!

But hopefully they will log my RFE response into the computer as soon as possible, and I can get this show back on the road again.

little4ele, hope that they approve you soon now that you sent in your RFE (even though it's their fault they lost it...)

For everyone else, since I got my interview scheduled with no RFEs from Missouri, can I assume that they didn't lose my K3 medical? I haven't seen any cases where someone gets to their interview and and then told that their K medical is no where to be found... has anyone else?

Ok, we had our interview today and although it was an easy one (at least I think so) it left a "not such a winner taste"... kinda bitter sweet.

First of all, I had prepared for this interview very well, we had copies of everything, we had a very organized folder, therefore I had extremely high expectations that we would walk out of there with a stamp.

We got there 10 minutes before our appt, the security guy was very nice, asked me to take my belt off and warned my wife to be on the look out if my pants fell down, everyone was really nice. At about 10:45 they called us in, a lady.... the interview was basically going over what we had on the application, no personal questions, however the people right behind us were being nailed with questions about what they eat in the morning, what side of the bed, etc... our interviewer was almost a rude person, she was very serious and she made some comments at which she laughed by herself... I was so tense, but felt so relaxed at the same time... anyway, she gave us an RFE for certified copies of my wife's court papers (for a prior arrest), she had copies that were given to her at the courthouse, but they werent signed at all... not by the judge, or by any clerk...

Also, she asked for 3 letters of friends and family - which I didnt understand, because she never once looked like she was suspicious of anything, she was very serious, looked into our eyes when asking questions, but never for one second I felt she didnt believe in us, however at the end she asked for the letters, even thought she didnt even look at our HUGE album... she kept a copy of everything, we had bank account statements, insurance, a lease, and my passport with a visa to Brazil, which we are planning on going soon... but no stamp, no approval and a funny and bitter feeling of mission not accomplished, I guess I am just like that, but I feel like it is not done and it won't be done until it really is done and she has her green card.... and just so i can relax, that's totally normal procedure right ? I mean, a lot of people have something missing, right ? or no ?

florida guy, sorry to hear it didn't go as well as planned.

Did she remove the I-94 from your wife's passport? I'm sure everything will be fine after you submit the RFE. Interviewers are all different. Maybe she just wants the letters for the file so that there are actual names and signatures instead that know you both.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

florida guy, sounds like all is well in the end. We too have to submit certified copy of one legal paper, but other than that we are ok pending name check. Glad to hear we're not the only ones in the world who got asked the BIG questions. :help:

We had our interview this afternoon in Seattle. We got approved, but didn't get the stamp because we have the EAD card. Yay!!

The person who interviewed us was very nice. He only asked us a few simple questions about how we met, had we met each others families, etc. He asked to see our evidence of relationship and photos as well, but that was about it. He submitted the approval through the online system while we were in his office, and the "card production ordered" email was waiting for us when we got home.
