Thanks a lot for ur reply

God bless!

You may re-apply right away or soon but that's NOT highly recommended. You'll likely get denied again.

A B2 cannot be sponsored so it's kinda peculiar that the CO decided to word her question as such. Perhaps a bit too late now for this rejected application but frankly, based on your profile/background given at the beginning of this post re: your age and financial abilities, it really doesn't even make sense to tell the CO that your uncle is sponsoring or paying for your trip.

As soon as you showed a hint of financial dependency on your USC uncle, the CO might have thought that you aren't well established back home and have immigration intent.

My suggestion is, wait for a year or so before you try again. If you're just gonna go there for a visit, there's absolutely no hurry to do it immediately and the visit can be done at any other time down the road.

Sorry about the visa refusal because I've been there too. It s*cked but it is what it is. I didn't try for another tourist visa till a few years later.

KULtoATL has some awesome advice for you.

In addition, you might want to take a few trips overseas, just to build up a history of travel where you return on time to your country.

yep great same thought like what i was thinking in the morning....thanks a lot

@shalu545 don't despair. This happens everyday to just about anyone. As per @EmilyW try to build a travel history :) The years that I avoided B2 re-application, I spent it traveling elsewhere and I had a lot of fun while accumulating some passport stamps.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

I agree to get rid of the sponsorship aspect of it and do some more traveling. You should be showing you are self sufficient.

Your uncle's financial status should not be a factor in you visiting.

There's no such thing as sponsoring a B2. A B2 requires proof on your end to the CO that you are able to cover the trip yourself. Other than that, it's also your burden to prove your ties back in India and that you will return to India after a visit. A CO might wonder why are you even trying to visit the US if you actually can't afford it. It really doesn't matter to the CO that your uncle wants to sponsor as a gift. And you don't sponsor yourself. You simply pay for yourself :)

Those forums ought to be avoided, primarily India-based with suspect advice. Certain words aka US sponsors spell doom for a b2 application.

I've run across people over the years on B2s from asia.. ind\pak\nepal, etc. Single ladies more often than not seek US spouses and try often not to return home. COs are aware of this and likely viewed your 27-yo sister's application from that angle.

The trick question was who is sponsoring you

you dont get sponsored to visit, both of you

leaving together means you could rent out your

home, find a husband in the states and not return,

take a few trips Dubai UK maybe good before wasting

money in US applications again, you cannot seem

desperate
