Hi all. Just wanting to know if anyone has recently within the last year preferably has sent an expedite request to NVC? I sent mine on Thursday and haven't gotten response yet. Just wanting to have an idea when USEm might respond to the expedite request. And also, is it difficult to get one with USem manila? Thanks!

Expedites can take days, weeks, or months to hear a response...it's just a waiting game really. Usually they respond fairly quickly for an approval from what I've seen here. The embassy it's going to doesn't really matter...the expedite only applies for NVC processing, not the embassy. A new and separate expedite would be needed for the embassy (http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-iv-expeditedappointment.asp).

Mind if I ask the basis for the expedite? No details needed...just curious under what criteria it's being applied for.

Yeah that's right. But they do forward the nvc request to the embassy. So it is still up to the embassy. I know about separate expedite request. I'm not worried about embassy expedite. Just wanting at least the nvc expedite which is still dependent on embassys decision. But anyway, I was wanting for more like specific timeline for expedite request response from people who actually sent them. Denied or approved doesn't matter.

Hey there, I saw your post about getting a reply to your expedite. How many days did it take to get a reply from NVC after your expedite email? Did reply back via email or phone?

Thanks
