I'm not sure if this is the right area for me to ask this question, but..

I am currently in the process of having my husband immigrate from Vietnam to the USA. We are currently stuck at the NVC stage as you all know how much of a pain they have been with all their work being backed up.

Well my questions is... I am due to have my baby in the next 3 weeks. My husband and i know that he probably wont even get his interview and get past the NVC stage until late July or Early August. So i will be traveling to Vietnam to have my husband meet his new baby as well as for my in-laws to get a chance to meet our baby before my husband immigrates over to the USA.

How would i go about obtaining my baby's passport? I know i would have to have either both parents to apply for the passport of a minor which in this case wont be possible since my husband lives in Vietnam. How else could i get a passport for our baby with just one parent being present?
