has said he did not want to be US secretary of state and only took the job because his wife convinced him to do it.

The former ExxonMobil oil executive revealed his initial reluctance in an interview published after a controversial trip to Asia and hours before the biggest event of his two months at the state department, an international meeting on Wednesday about how to fight Islamic State (Isis).

Trump is only getting his second or third choice for his cabinet. The for the jobs available are turning him down. I don't blame them - being associated with this administration might ruin any reputation they have. No wonder he can only get people like Sessions and Carson to work in his sinking ship.

Maybe that is the one role where he can do something right. Maybe he is a good father, and their allegiance is rooted on that.

I think she's the only person in that family that seems to know what's going on. At least she's been keeping a low profile, which may indicate she is the brains keeping her deranged father from completely going off his rails. She may be the only person he will listen to. Remember, even his wife won't commit to joining him in the WH. He's all alone, and Ivanka may be the only link he has to reality.

Makes one wonder just how close he is with Ivanka. Maybe too close?

Maybe I watch a little too much Law & Order SVU, but the comments Donald has made in the past about his desire to sleep with his daughter, if she wasn't actually his daughter and the current living arrangements with Melania and Baron living in NY, does give food for thought.
