I got my approval NOA2 approval  on 11/21/17 and I just called yesterday to NVC and they haven't received it she said to give it a couple more weeks.  I'm just going to call every week.

Call everyday.  It’s a free call. You want that case number as soon as it’s available. You should call USCIS and ask if your file shipped out to the NVC. I did and within a few days the file was assigned it’s number as I called the NVC everyday after the USCIS confirmed the file had left the service center. Without the NVC number you can’t start the next phase of the petition.

So they called back after 68 minutes and it was no help at all. In fact she kind of seemed rude. She said the same thing that the processing time is still Feb 2nd for Texas and it could take 1-2 months to get to March. Such bullshit. This is so frustrating.

Sorry to hear that they had no update for you.

No consistency with the staff, some of us report good interaction and then others like yourself get rough treatment.

Since we're on the subject of calling USCIS: how many of you are the beneficiary as opposed to the petitioner?

I always get told, when I call (though only ever called 3 times) that because I'm the beneficiary they won't give me any specific information about my case. The petitioner (my wife) has to call.

Is that true? Is that other people's experience?

Parmanet resident and i m from nepal

it takes longer for permanent residents to get paperwork done. it will probably take another 2-3 months for an approval and then up to another year to actually have an interview scheduled for a visa. right now they are scheduling interviews for dec 2016.
