Life has so many curve balls to throw at us, we have to learn to adapt and just deal with it. Keep the faith, keep praying and it's all going to work itself out. I myself find that i am stressed out more often at times because this is hard, but everyday that passes is one day closer to being with my family. Don't stop for one second and punish yourself, you're doing all you can, there are somethings we just don't have control over.

Perfectly said!!

***** My call to the Texas Service Center on 09-05-17 *****

Yesterday I decided to call the TSC to inquire about my wife's application PD 03-13-17. The first operator was only able to give me the same information that I am seeing online so I stressed to him that I wanted to be transferred to tier two. After some discussion, I was eventually transferred to tier two and was given the option via an automated system to have them call me back. I was happy to have this option instead of having to wait on the phone endlessly listening to the same melody over and over!

That's great but what did they say?

After about 1-1/2 hours I received a call back. I explained to the agent that my wife's PD was 03-13-17 and asked if she could give me an update on the status. She was very matter of fact... and gave me the same info that is on the website, the check your status link...

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

and the TSC USCIS Processing Time link....

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do

There was no change from what was shown on the status page and she also stated the same processing date as the TSC page.

I-130 Petition for Alien Relative U.S. citizen filing for a spouse, parent, or child under 21 November 2, 2016

I told the agent that this page seemed to be out of date because it showed "Field Office Processing Dates for Texas Service Center as of: June 30, 2017" at the top of the page. She replied "you have to look at the Last Updated: August 16, 2017 at the bottom of the page". Well first off I mentioned to her that even that was 3 weeks old and I am seeing people on the VisaJourney website with PD dates into early March 2017 that had posted they were just approved for for NOA2. She told me that that was not an official government website (Like I didn't know that.. LOL) and that it was random information being posted and the information on the TSC USCIS web site was correct, they are currently processing I-130 petition for alien relative, US Citizen filing for a spouse, or child under 21 with PD date's of November 2, 2016! She also said that the average time for this was 10-12 months!

This is very concerning, I had thought that the max time would be about 6 months for NOA2. I am hoping that the information here on VisaJourney is a more accurate representation based on the updates from the members posting here. This is one of the most frustrating things I ever have had to deal with. Lack of correct and timely information, checking the USCIS Texas SC Processing Time link everyday is like watching ice melt !!!!
