As for what I posted, it's there to be read over and over.  And is exactly what I meant.  I don't see how you can misinterpret such a simple example.   Guess that's part of being the "fairer" sex?

ssssshhhhh, i'm trying to fill out all these loan forms but they're so complicated and asking me for two lone pages of tax filings from twelve years ago. seems stupid to ask for my taxes to get my income from 12 years ago but hey, doing what i have to do to get a loan to understand the difference between a 1040 and 1040EZ.

I'll wait right here while you show me where I said one needs to show a 12-year tax return to get a loan.  (Luckily, I have me a Snickers bar handy, cuz I ain't going to be going anywhere for a while.

 

Loans require proof of income.  Tax returns help provide that.  Two pages are all that are needed.  I can try another language if that helps, but this is really the simplest way I know to say it.
