Thanks...I'll send it just with Delivery confirmation.  I don't want my paperwork being held up because some guy is unavailable to sign.

Sounds good. As long as you can track it and can confirm that it arrived, you're on the safe side. I hope it's just something easy for you.

I did regular priority mail and it got lost for two days, so I resent express mail with signature confirmation. I definitely recommend that because express mail is delivered to their building, not the post office. The stress caused by the first one getting lost kept me awake to be honest.

Thanks...I didn't know that Express Mail was delivered to their building.  I'll definitively do Signature Confirmation.

I'm not sure they can, so I would look up the ASC and see what their policies are/if their waiting room is open to people other than the applicant.

I'd just like his support by him being there, I know it's not a necessary task for him to do 😊

Thanks.  When you sent in the RFIE for birth certificate, did you send in the original or a copy?  I have the original but it's my only copy and I don't want them to lose it and then I won't have another original.  Will a copy of the birth certificate be fine?  I haven't received the RFIE letter yet, but I'm just guessing right now.  Not sure what it could be.

Got my hardcopy noa1 letter for i485 and i 765 ,didnt get one for the 131 yet,and it seems we got our biometrics appointment provided on the letter as well, does this alao count aa the biometric appointment letter?

If the letter has 2 barcodes at the bottom along with the location, date and time of your appointment, then it's just the biometrics letter. I don't think they send out NOA / biometrics combo letters and I'm not even sure if they exist. And since you're saying the I-131 isn't listed in the letter, it sounds even more like the biometrics letter.

So...Little update :). I had biometrics appointment today. I was the only person there (I am from Delaware but they send me to Maryland-closest one). I also send things they asked as a RFIE. What is next? How long after biometric working permit will arrive? Oooh I really need that one.

in my RFIE it was saying COPY of it. So i sent copy of my original birth certificate. 

 

I sent original the first one and they asked copy of it. Weird.

 

EDIT: I am done biometrics today. Took 10 minutes. But jacksonville was too far away from us. 5 hours driving there and 5 hours driving back. Exhausting.

 I had trouble for several days until yesterday! I was going crazy not being able to get on here! Oh and I got IP error any time I tried to update timeline.
