Never book plane tickets before you have the visa in hand.

Even in a best case scenario, it takes about 2 weeks after interview for them to finish paperwork, print the visa, and post it out to you.  There can easily be delays to that- anything from extra security checks over them requesting extra financial or relationship documents to something s "silly" as them running out of special ink for the visa printing machine.

Hello,

Just keep in mind it takes approx. two weeks for the medical to be completed and sent to the Embassy in Jamaica.  The medical not being received has been a major major issue lately.  Definitely do not book a tick until you know the visa has been issued.  Although they can tell you approved there still tends to be a hold up at times.

It takes 4-6 weeks to process and issue visa after the interview.  You will still need to schedule medical ten days prior to interview date.  Since you can only get medical completed in Kingston, its hard to get anppointment, and they are behind in processing meical exams.

:time:  Have you been waiting since 2015 for an interview date?

Golden rule is never to purchase airline tickets until visa is in hand.  You cannot count on certain length of time for medical exam results with Andrews or the visa processing at Kingston embassy.
