Medical exam again in less than 1 year??

Hello,

I finally got my interview scheduled soon but i received before that a "NOTICE OF APPLICANT" stating that i need to bring with me medical exam  to the interview.

When i applied i already submitted I-693 sealed envelope done less then a year ago and i have a copy of it.

Could this be a mistake? should i redo the medical exam ? but this will consume time, money and it's annoying

Was that the only thing it said on the notice? Cause normally it will be a "standard" notice and you'll bring whatever applies to you afaiu.

Thank you for your reply, the notice came separately and by itself before that any interview was set.

It states that i might not have submitted form I-693 or i might have submitted something missing....

 

It was like a general notice not like any RFE. When i called the customer service they didn't have a clue what i was talking about

what do you mean "submitted something missing"? What I meant was did it ask for anything else? Perhaps you can say exactly what it said?

-A complete and signed I-693 was not submitted.

Well, seems to me that you need to go back to your doctor's office and ask to look over that it was filled in correctly.

I have a copy of my I-693 It's complete and signed properly, I had all vaccinations and examinations.

This is weird I'm thinking of doing another one anyway for safety! I learned that any missing document cost someone lots of delay!

What do you think?

I would go over that copy up and down and make absolutely sure I am not missing anything... and if I found that everything was signed properly I would bring the copy to the interview.

 

Did you look at the dates that you and the CS signed it? You signed it together right? I know that you are not allowed to sign at an earlier date.

 

That said, that's what I would do, I trust my judgement. If you don't trust yours then maybe you should have another medical. It's your case and you need to decide whatever you are comfortable with.

I suppose there is the possibility (not likelyhood but possibility) that they in fact lost the i.693. Perhaps you can go to the doctor's office and ask them to seal another copy for you to bring. Explain that you think they might have lost it due to the notice.

If you needed a new medical due to the other one being old, it would say it was outdated. I've seen that before..

I've heard that in August 2016 there was an update on I-693 but my PD is June 2016 and My exam was done May 2016! so the logic says my exam should still be valid since it's before the update.

I think i better do it even though i'll lose some money, imagine going to the interview after all this longggg wait and then come back home with another RFE, it sounds horrible.

If that will make you sleep at night then so be it   You should know though, that if you show them everything and it's logical and according to rules and guidelines they will listen. You can point to the dates and you can show a copy of your medical. The ONLY thing is really if they lost it, cause then your copy won't do. They want it sealed. That's why I advised on getting another sealed copy. 

They make mistakes too, but they don't ignore blatant facts when you present them to them in person.

Thank you very much! i feel better after reading the advices, I decided to start by talking to the DR since i have a copy and then i'll decide what to do from there!
