Hi guys!

My wife and I are getting ready to send our i-130 application in the mail any day now! We are so excited :)

Please help me check if I'm missing something. Also, do I need some kind of copy of my passport (as the beneficiary) or proof of citizenship for my country (Norway), or

is it enough with the g325a form?

This is what we have:

1. Cover Letter

2. i-130 form

3. g325a form - Petitioner

4. g325a form - Beneficiary

5. 1x passport style photo of petitioner (2x2 inches), taken by a photographer

6. 1x passport style photo of beneficiary (2x2 inches), taken by a photographer

7. Photo album made in a timeline/story format with pictures from dating -> wedding -> current situation

8. Signed affidavits from 2 friends, petitioners sister, beneficiary's brother. (Two of these are US citizens, one Australian and one Norwegian)

9. 535$ check.

Anything I'm missing?

Thanks so much to all you guys on the forum :))

Great! Just had to make sure :) what about the cover letter? I didn't see anything about it in the I-130 filing instructions..

Photocopy Proof of USC claim to citizenship - entire passport, birth certificate etc?  Copy of marriage certificate?

I wouldn't bother with a photo album as it'll just be taken apart.  Do you have more than photos and affidavits for evidence of a genuine relationship? Any evidence of regular communication or of visiting each other?

We have lived together in Norway for 2,5 years now! You still think we need more evidence

Provide evidence of financial co-mingling and cohabitation.  Affidavits are very low evidence but dont hurt to submit.  As I mentioned a photo album will be taken apart.  Generally we suggest people print off photos on regular paper with notes about when they're taken, where, and who's in them.

The marriage certificate is a requirement as is proof of US citizenship  or LPR status.

We submitted joint bank account, joint auto insurance, about 6 photos, 2 affidavits, boarding passes and receipts of visiting and time spent together.  Generally speaking Canada and Norway are low fraud and since you've been living together you should have lots of evidence.

Definitely include lease/housing agreements, joint bank account info (letter from the bank and a statement showing your names if you can), proof of meeting/visiting each others family.

We included housing leases for every place we lived, our joint bank account, and each of our trips together included flights, a page of photos that i did in a collage on a program on my computer called collageIT (its free) and i gave it a title like "meeting Aarons parents for the first time" or "our honeymoon"
In my cover letter I explained the brief story of us .... where we met, our long distance time, moving to be closer to me, etc.

Like previously mentioned, affidavits are weak. In fact NVC themselves told me they are a "backup" if you have no proof you lived together etc.  They only hold a small amount of weight.
