Is really sad what is happening to you I've been reading your updates and at this point I believe you should resend your application and cancel the check because if you don't they might cash you twice

Thanks Miggel,

I think it's my best option at this point as well. I figured something like this might happen to us during the AOS phase as our K1 phase went so smooth and flawless :P

Just a question: I received my Biometrics Appointment letter last week. The appointment is scheduled for April 11th.

I'm still assuming that I will receive an RFE for sending documents that I have forgotten to submit with the application. Do  get the RFE before I have the appoinment or afterwards? My USCIS status hasn't changed yet.

Hello, you can receive an RFE at any time during the AOS process including interview (if you have one)

What documents did you forget to submit?

Letter of employment and some of my husband's pay stubs. I somehow only submitted his 2015 tax return. Do I also have to include his W2 from 2016?

Yes absolutely if you had the W2s you should have sent them along with the form I 864 (affidavit of support)  it's really important. even if they don't send you an  RFE for 2016 have them ready just in case, they may or they may not send you an RFE because you filed just when the year started.

Hopefully you won't get one 🙂

I have a copy of everything ready to be send out.

Does this RFE (if I should get one) affect my EAD and AP application?

No it  doesn't because forms I 764 (work permit) and I 131(advance parole)  are totally independent cases that are not related with your petition I 485 (green card), even thought they were filed concurrently, sometimes people get their green card before than the work authorization documents.

Just a comment:

You can always expedite your I 765 (EAD)

I also only submitted 2013-2015 only. I honestly expected an RFE since I sent federal tax returns and not tax transcripts. But to my surprise, my case status says case ready to be scheduled for interview.
