I actually got an RFE before I received my biometrics notice.. I thought it was weird.. Turned out we forgot to fill out one part of the I-864..

So I got an RFE for my birth certificate :(,

I used the international birth certificate issued by the one and official birth register in germany. It is not an translation like uscis states. I also used that one for the K1 Visa in Frankfurt and there was no issue. What am I gonna do now. Send the original in german language? What did you guys sent?? I'm lost :(

We got a RFE for the same reason, my husband submitted a copy of his birth certificate and a copy of the translation.

Did you get the RFE because you submitted the photocopy of his birth certificate and translation or that was the response to the RFE?

We received a RFE because we forgot to send the birth certificate and the translation.

Nah it's three NOAs if you adjusted from K1. I-485, I-131, I-765. The Affdavit is a part of the I-485 so you don't receive a NOA for that.

Well we have 2. One says for the I-485 and the other says 1-765. Looking right at them. We submitted 2 notification forms though.

Hello everyone,

I dont know yet if I will fall into the February or March filers yet. :(

I sent my AOS paperwork via USPS Certified Mail on Feb 13th, and it was supposed to be delivered on February 15th. Somehow, the USPS updated with "delayed" and they ended up getting it and signed for it on Feb 20th.

So far, they have not cashed the check or sent any Text/email notification after 14 days of receiving it. I am kinda worried and I have been calling since last week to get an update. They always tell me the same thing: "We don't have anything on file yet. You may want to resend the paperwork again or wait a few more weeks."

Do you guys think I should keep waiting for another week before I do anything? What is your advise?

Thanks a lot for your help

I-485 is your overall adjustment, the I-765 is EAD, your Advance of Parole I-131 is missing. In general you only need to submit one notification form for all three applications (if it's adjustment from any other visa it's 4 applications so 4 notifications).

No. We did not file a I-131 as we do not need one. See the photo. We have 2 NOA's, one for the 1-485 and one for the 1-765. IMG_0190.thumb.JPG.639ec0a847e1cb38be464e2668e6e4c0.JPG

Thanks a lot for your help

We had the same problem. We called everyday and their advice to us was to wait 30 days, and then they could help us. They said after 30 days they would refer us to the people at the lockbox. It took 19 days to get the text saying they recieved it. We had the packet prepared to send again but didn't have to. It was an ordeal.
