Guys we just received our case number and IIN through email! We werent really expecting that at all.   We called Wednesday and they said to call back again next week.  We received two emails one directed to the petitioner and beneficiary with the numbers, some instructions and a document cover sheet with checkboxes.  Is this common?

sorry we don't have the answer but wanted to say felicidades!

to distract us from empty mailbox blues, we're visiting Costa Rica for the first time...to have some peace and pura vida. Bendiciones, jude & josé

It sounds right eritrocita. I think you have to follow the instruction with the case no. and IIN they provided. I'm still waiting on my email to be received. Good Luck :)

if you left your email back then when you called, then yes it's normal and if not you're lucky because then they must have taken it from your file, because you need the DS261 to give your email for further correspondence.

thanks, we did a lot of planning today and it was a great distraction. To be honest, it's kind of like a first date with the country--we are considering CR as a "plan B" if the door is closed on our visa path....or forever in immigration purgagory:)

STATUS INQUIRIES: I see some Jan filers have called since the USCIS processing dates were updated on the 12th.

Has anyone done the online case status inquiry? any response?

Any Jan filers set up an infopass appointment? I made one online to be held at the El Salvador field office, and I am curious about whether anyone has experience/wisdom to share.  Thanks!

Hi,

Guys, I got my NOA2 on 27-June-2017

so how can i get the N.V.C details? to open payment page and continue with NVC?

just call them, like we all did. And I urge you to read as much on this process as we all have done, keep yourself the utmost knowledgeable and when in doubt drop a question and we'll try our best to help one another.

Hi everyone, for those not approved yet, if you need a good laugh, just check USCIS processing times, especially the Texas ones

On May 31, they were processing petition from... guess when? May 31st !

This BS is truly aggravating!

The silver lining though, is that one of the categories (spouse of PR) seems to be at early January.

If it's similar for the USC, that lines up with the recent approvals (and we should be very close dammit !!!!)

I feel like I need to push for open and public complain to the world, Miss Freaque did it a few days ago and it triggered the approval, so i'm going to do just like you girl ;-)

I am frustrated with you guys. I just do not understand the reasoning for the LOOOONNNNGGGG processing times (not that it is for us to comprehend). However, I hope that the two of you being together right now helps ease the pain of the excruciating wait.

Hey, the public complaint is worth a shot! Fingers crossed with you!
