File sent to Texas service center on December 1 , 2016. I read on a forum that we should wait for 200-ish days before receiving the NOA2 , could anyone confirm or deny this information?

First off, you haven't sent it to the Texas service center but to the Texas lockbox. That's totally different. The Texas service center hasn't been adjudicating any i129f in almost two years now. 

Your petition is going to be adjudicated within 5 months.

Each case is individual, it can take up to 12 months for a case to be approved. To be honest it doesn't take that long but I'd hold out a few more months yet before worrying about timescales.

I will not look back on this journey with fond memories, but I will look back knowing that every step was worth it, whatever the outcome.

The current average is about 2 months from NOA1 to NOA2. That said, expect it to take longer due to a growing backlog currently. And some cases can take even longer, as @slimbolina noted.

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview
