Can anyone give me information on the medical evaluations for the Philippines.  Does both the Fiance and dependents go through the examination?  Is this done before or after the interview?  Do they go to specific embassy physicians or do they choose there own Physicians?  Do you know the cost of these exams?

You must use St. Luke's Medical Center Extension.

Medical fees for 15 years and older is Php 16,042.50, and 14 years and younger is Php 8,600

Naturalization Timeline

01/05/2020.......Filed N-400 online.

01/07/2020.......I-751 transferred from Texas Service Center to Lee's Summit.

01/31/2020.......Biometrics Appointment.

03/06/2020.......Interview Scheduled 04/16/2020.

06/16/2020.......Interview Rescheduled 07/08/2020

07/08/2020.......Approved

08/20/2020.......Oath Ceremony

We are ready to get going. She'll go to St Luke's for her medical on the 16th. It is my understanding that this takes 2 days? Also, how do you pay? Is it in cash or bank draft or what? I saw somewhere that they do not take credit card or check.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Everything will be done TIMES 2.   2 medicals.  2 visa fees (with separate deposit slips), 2 DS-160 ... well you get the idea. ;)

 

Depending on the age of the child (2-14 years) their medical requires 3 days because of the TB skin test so the medical will not be allowed on Thursdays.

She tried the BPI online payment, but that failed. She had to actually go to the branch twice to get it done. Anyhoo, everything is scheduled. Medical, VISA Interview, and CFO. I have tentatively booked a flight for 14 Feb.

Don't book and pay for a flight!!!!!!

We have seen too many here get burned.  Even the Embassy states not to book till you have your visa in hand.

Oh yeah. I didn't pay for it. I sat down with the Frequent Flyer people to find a good flight and reserve it, but not pay it. I do not want to flush away the money in case something comes up.

I updated my signature with the dates of everything. Hopefully I will be able to turn the last red ones blue very very soon. The flight date of the 14th is off anyway. She wants to push it back to the 28th so she will have time to give notice at work and spend a little time with her family before she leaves.

Good idea - spending time with family.  Shortly after arriving and the "thrill" wears off ... she will miss everyone in the Phils.
