Hi, just got my approval letter yesterday. We applied on 1/3/2017. Got NOA 1/7/2017 for me and my daughter. Got both approvals 12/13/2017. Vermont.

Congratulations!   My approval letter was dated 12/13/2017, rec'd 12/18/2017, card rec'd 12/28/2017. Online status changed the day after I rec'd the approval letter (12/19/2017 status change

I'm like you, just a stamp, no green card.

About the processing time, you know it's weird because I've seen people who (according to the USCIS website) have a waiting time of 9-14 months for example, but got approved in like 4 months.. I know every file is different but it's strange how they process cases.

I guess people don't get update notifications when case is transferred from NBC to local office, right? In that case, we will not know when the case is moved to local office only until we receive local office interview notice.

I got approved on 4/11 and still waiting for the card.

New Journey AOS:

My fiancee came to US on the 8th of March, 2014 under K-1 visa at Newark, NJ Airport for POE.

Applied Social Security Number on the 10 of March, 2014.

Married on the 13th of March, 2014.

Sent I-485, I-765, and I-131 on the 15th of March, 2014.

Received EAD on June 7, 2014.

Received Notice of Potential Interview Waiver on July 1, 2014 date 6/27

Contacted Ombudsman on 01/12/2015.

Ombudsman contacted USCIS on 02/20/2015.

Ombudsman sent a follow up to USCIS on 03/18/2015.

I-485 approved on 03/31/2015 ( we ordered your card).

Welcome notice was mailed on 04/01/2015.

Received Welcome Notice on 04/08/2015.

Card was mailed to me/picked up by USPS on 04/08/2015.

Received GC on 4/10/2015.

Prediction 04/08/2015

After seeing so many people case transfer to NSC center and get approved after me, already get their card in hand that makes me really nervous. I could not help myself thinking about that must be something wrong with my case. Glad to see I am NOT the only one. I will try to call NSC service center tomorrow, I REALLY need to know if something is going on. By the way, I hope you will get your card soon!

But the place your case was transferred is NCS. What I tried to distinguish is between N 400 and non- N400 which are all transferred to NBC.

Maybe it has something to do with wrong dates on green cards that were printed? Maybe it’s delayed it a bit? (Based in your early April approval)

January 8th 2014 - NOA1

July 10th 2014 - NOA2

NVC

July 17th 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

July 30th 2014 - Case received by NVC

August 13th 2014 - Case number and IIN received by email

August 13th 2014 - DS-261 Form Completed

August 14th 2014 - AOS Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 17th 2014 - IV Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

December 30th 2014 - Case Compl........NOT. So after not having an interview date yet, I called again on Jan 30th and apparently its in final review with a supervisor.

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

March 27 2015 - Interview Date

March 27 2015 - Approved!

I really do not know but I saw some people on this site got their case transfer to NBC center just like me. One month later then me, they already got their card! They were approved at the beginning of May.

Is it tier 1 person or Tier 2 person that told you?
