Yeah, I remember it's on the online notification means the latest date we should receive the mail notice, which we already did.

Oh that was it? I thought there was another one coming our way😥

I have question, what the different between NBC and the local office that hold your N400 ? The NBC is gonna Schedule the combo or the local office? I’m confused

my understanding is NBC will send i751 ad i400 to your local office. then your local office will schedule the interview base on their availability.

Correct I did not file N400 yet as I wanted to be done with the green card process first.

And yea I agree, they are reassigning cases that haven’t filed n400 to speed up processing time at CSC

and the ones that filed n400, is assuming they do a quick review? And then send it over to NBC for N400 interview process.

I don't why my situation seems to be ignored. I got the updates of my case being transferred to another office and a new office that has the jurisdiction over my case after the 751 approval which shows the updates might be meaningless.

So do you think NBC and this new process will push the N400 interview to process fast or just a regular waiting time

I think that when we filed for N400 our files went to NBC for the initial processing (finger prints, background checks...) once that was cleared it should have been sent to our local office but since we have a I751 pending they had to get it first and then send it all together to our local office.

The letter we got in the mail is to confirm the transfer and the explanation is they completed a preliminary review of our case.

Now all there is left to do is to wait for our interview letters. God I hope we'll get them soon!

So how do we know that they cleared our background checks ? Should we call them and ask or just waiting

In my opinion that was already done and that's why our I751 was transferred. The next step is for NBC/local office (not sure who) will schedule us for an interview.

Hi, January 2017th ROC filers ( CSC- California Service Center)

Just wanted to share my timeline:  Submitted my ROC to CSC at the beginning of January 2017, they received it on January, 17th 2017.

February 26th, 2018 got the glitch message about Case being transferred to local office

April 4th, 2018 Case was transferred to Nebraska (NCS), hardcopy received in the mail within few days

May 7th , 2018 - Card in Production"

May 8th, 2018 - "Case Approved" status

May 10th, 2018 - Card was mailed to me

May 11th, 2018 - Received the Approval Letter in the mail

May 14th, 2018 - GREEN CARD RECEIVED!!!! Woot Woot!

Never submitted N400, I did NOT send 20lb evidence with all years text messages or bank statements for few years and stuff, just some reasonable evidence - about 20 pictures through few years of relationship, couple lease documents for apartment and couple open envelopes with both of our names on them with same address, couple utilities and internet bills, same phone account, account for our dog's hospital (lol), and statement that my US husband is a beneficiary of my life insurance. No relatives/ friends affidavits, no children.

Good luck to everyone, peeps! Stay strong and positive - Your cards are coming!

Thanks for sharing this, now I can tell what's the difference between the transfer of non-N400 filers and N400 filers. The wording of my transfer notice is "We completed preliminary review..., we transfer your case for a standard part of processing." I guess it's because I filed N 400.

Yours is different, because you didn't file N 400, correct?

Not necessary, I haven't filled N400 form but my case was transferred to NCS and I received "We completed preliminary review..., we transfer your case for a standard part of processing."

I think you are super lucky! I have the same timeline as your transfer to NCS and approve on Apr 5 but they did not ever order my card yet. It makes me really worried. Maybe something bad happened I guess I have to call and ask them about it....
