Is earning 22.500$ a year under the poverty guidelines? Will the process require me to have a co-sponsor to meet the guidelines? I already have a son in my charge in the US and I will be expecting two people ( my fiancee and the new born baby) by the time the visa is issued.

For the time you have to file AOS he needs to earn $25,020 annually for a household of three. Right now he makes enough for K1 and household of two but consider you need a co sponsor if he doesn not meet the requirements.

Edit: so if I read correct, your household is 4? Then the requirement is $30,375
