Got approved! But site still says sheduled for interview

I got my approval today from K1 to greencard. The interviewer at USCIS told me to expect my greencard in the mail in 2 to 3 weeks. The status on the website still says sheduled for interview. I thought it was supposed to change to card in production or something? How long can this take?

I would assume probably be like with the K-1 when you would check on CEAC, it would usually takes 1-2 business days to change. Plus, it's Friday so might not change til Monday.

The green card usually arrives within 1-2 weeks, I got mine around 7 days after I got the "Card is in production" on the case tracker. Sometimes, the approval notice (NOA2) in the mail comes first. Congratulations!

I had my interview 2 weeks ago, and still says interview scheduled as well.

It looks like some officers are faster than others in dealing with the paperwork lol.

Officers have 30 days to update the case from the day of the interview

The interviewer said i can expect my greencard in 2 to 3 weeks. Its almost 2 weeks ago now and still says interview is sheduled as well. So i guess i have to wait longer than that?

My interview was, let's say,"special"

We had to be interviewed by a backup, because the IO assigned to our case had some problems with the previous interviews and after waiting 2 hours after our appointment time we finally had our interview.

I think now our case is in the bottom of the pile of some officer who doesn't care about how anxious we are about this stuff

Anyways, I submitted a SR 2 weeks ago, and got a response today saying our case is still pending adjudication and that they are sorry for the delay (yeah, sure)

 

Next week I am emailing my congressman to inquire about why they need a full month to make a decision :/

So they didnt approve you on the spot? They told me my case was an easy approval since we did everything the right way with a K1 visa and that the interview was just a formality. But now im still waiting for the status on the website to update. Ive been reading some topics here on visajourney and some people have their status on the USCIS website updated as soon as they get in the car to drive home. Some had to wait until the next morning.

Im leaving state soon and I really need my green card ASAP. I need to get on my wife's bank account and deal with some other stuff before i leave. I'm quite upset because they told me 2 or 3 weeks to expect it in the mail.

Well, he didn't tell me if I was approved, but he said "I really liked what I saw" while he smiled, so it's like he said we were approved but this officer doesn't like to say anything at the time of the interview.

 

He also told us to expect news in the next two weeks, and today makes 3 weeks since the interview.
