I485 "Expires on (MM/DD/YYYY) on first page

Good Morning,

I'm typing up the final copies of my wife's Adjustment of Status form. I'm not sure which date to enter on the "Expires on mm/dd/yyyy" question at the top of the first page. Her visa has two dates, expiration of petition and expiration of visa. I am guessing we put in the expiration of visa, but I want to verify it with the folks here.

Thank you and Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah to everyone!

Sincerely,

Leigh

Ah, gotcha. Thank you. No problem, we were married in October!

Definitely the I-94 expiration. The moment you go through the POE, the expiration of the visa in your passport doesn't really matter much anymore as it's a one-time use and you've used it by entering the U.S. Your new expiration is now the last day of your I-94, or 90 days from the date you went through the POE.
