You're welcome and just FYI, Stockholm looks at 100%.

That's good for the clarification on Swedens wants.

The OP will want 48060$ in assets then to meet the 100% poverty lines, and for using items that can be turned into cash, like other cars and stuff, just make sure to get them appraised by an appraiser. They'll want the appraisal note to include it as an asset.

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and thank God I found it. I am undergoing the K-1 process at the moment with my Egyptian Fiancee. I am also currently in school. The Consulate in Cairo has emailed me and requested that I submit a I-134 form. Because I am a student there is no way that I will be able to prove, at the moment, that I am worth 125% of above the poverty line. Luckily, I have family members that have stated that they would be happy to co-sponsor. I am confused about how they can co-sponsor and cant seem to find much information online about that process. Does the co-sponsor and I both need to fill out separate I-134 forms? Or is there something else that they need to fill out.

Thanks all

This is an old post so you should make you own post for your questions.

to answer the question: yes both you and co-sponsor needs to fill out I-134. You are still the main sponsor even if your income is not enough.

you should also check (maybe in the forum) to figure out if your consulate accepts co-sponsors, not all does.

Thank you Naes. I appreciate the response. Is there an official consulate list that shows which ones accept co-sponsors?

Unfortunately no.

you can check regional forums in this website or post a question yourself as a new post so someone would see it.
