Hard to say what he was thinking. Even if I could read his mind, that thought is already gone like wind through a tiny cave. Hard to see him having more free time. They are talking about settling the case now, which would be the smart thing to do if his ego can get out of the way.

I've never understood people's negativity around Obama enjoying golf. What is wrong with that exactly? Honest question. He total "vacation days" is far less than Bush took, or Reagan (though more than Clinton). If he chooses to spend those days on the golf course, who are we to judge? You wouldn't catch me there (I find it crazy boring), but I don't really see a problem with it?

I also found it funny that Trump thought he would have more "free time" when he is President for the trial. It's not going to get any better, so they need to just get it over with.

May not be for you, but it is for me. Seems like every so often when something important was happening, Obama couldn't vibe there to deal with it because he was on the links. Maybe I'm sensitive to the concept because I don't play golf. But it sure seemed to happen a lot while he served.

According to CBS, he had played 300 rounds up to this past August. Seems like a lot of golf to me. In 8 years, that's a touch over 3 games a month.
