Thanks Nikkosan. Yes, the ROC process was the one that gave the most stress. Now on to the N-400 process. I can't believe they are quoting a ECD of 19 months. Damn ridiculous!

Keep the faith, from what I've been reading (and I'm sure you have to), it is completely meaningless.

And yes, I agree with you on the ROC process. I just gave up a long time ago, and started focusing exclusively on citizenship. We'll interview if we have to (most likely now that I have applied for citizenship), but we don't care. We'll both be glad it's over when we're done!

F-1 Visa: Academic years 2007/2010.

K-1 Visa: I-129F sent Aug 2013; Approved Jan 2014.

Green Card: AOS sent Feb 2014; Approved Jan 2015.

Removal of Conditions: I-751 sent Nov 2016; Approved Apr 2018.

US Citizenship: Application sent Nov 2017; Fingerprints Nov 2017; Civics/English exam March 2018; Oath May 2018.

Congrats!! That's Approval Letter :) (You see Statue of Liberty on the background, and I also see 'Fi' which stands for Final  Notice, I think)

Enjoy

A lot of people from December were approved, meanwhile, I am VSC who filed in Oct., my NOA is November 3rd and I still have not heard anything yet.

If I remember correctly, you filed for N400. If that's the case, I've been reading that your two petitions are now combined, and you will most likely be interviewed for both on the same day. This means you will not see an approval until you are actually schedule for your citizenship interview, or better, your ROC will be approved the day you have the N400 interview.

Thanks @Nikkosan , yes I field N400. But do you think they do that for sure? I saw some people got their approval while N400 is pending.

That does seem to be the trend, @thmohds. From what I understand, those that received an approval with a N400 pending, it was because the ROC was already approved when they sent the N400 application, and they received communication of it soon after. Either way, since you filed for citizenship, I wouldn't worry too much about the ROC. It will most likely happen together with citizenship, which is your/our ultimate goal anyway!

Let's just hope we get called for an interview sooner rather than later!

I hope it will be soon, I am scheduled for a travel on Feb. and feel so worried to travel outside the country without GC or Citizenship. It's like you feel that you can't do anything, I don't even have a stamp, I have been trying for a month to get an appointment.

I hear ya... :(

I'm in the same situation. I'd like to get a stamp at this point, just in case, BUT, I can never seem to find an appointment (and I tried pretty much everything there is to try!).
